Frequently Asked Questions

What is Brazilian Zouk?

Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance built on smooth, natural movement and connection — the contact between partners and with the music. Instead of rigid figures, what matters is leading, following and shared flow. We put it simply: we don't teach figures, we teach you to listen.

What is Organic Flow?

Organic Flow is our own method for teaching partner dance, built on Brazilian Zouk. We teach all the fundamentals and technique of Zouk, but in a different order than most schools: we start with listening to yourself, your partner and the music, and treat figures as the result of good connection, not the goal. The method is built on dialogue between partners, body awareness and a sense of safety while dancing. We also train instructors in it, and its elements work well in other styles too, for example bachata and bachazouk.

I've never danced and I have no sense of rhythm. Can I do this?

Yes, and you're not the exception — most of our students started from exactly this place. We run our beginner courses step by step, at the group's pace, with no pressure. "Talent for dance" is a myth. All you need is a body and the willingness; we'll take care of the rest together.

Do I need a partner to start?

No. You sign up on your own, and during class we rotate partners, so you dance with different people and learn faster. A nice side effect: after a few weeks you know the whole group. Some events also offer a couple sign-up option — check that event's page for details.

I'll be coming for the first time and I don't know anyone. What's it like?

We know a first time takes courage, so we take care of that from the moment you walk in. Nobody stands alone against the wall here. Rotating partners means you get to know half the room within an hour, and a group that starts together quickly becomes its own crew. Many people come to us for the dancing and stay for the people.

What's the first lesson like?

We start gently: a warm-up, movement basics and the first simple elements in pairs. From the first minutes you're learning to feel, not to count. You leave thinking "okay, I can actually dance a little already" — not with your head full of steps to memorize.

What dance styles do you teach?

Our core is Brazilian Zouk, which we teach with our own Organic Flow method. We also run workshops and events for bachata and bachazouk dancers who want to develop their connection and head movement. We organize themed workshops, marathons and dance trips.

Where are classes held?

Most classes take place at ul. Oczki 1a in Warsaw. You'll always find the exact room on the page of the specific course or event.

How much do classes and passes cost?

Prices depend on the format: a single entry, a pass, or an event. You'll find it all in the Cennik (price list), with event prices listed on each event. Not sure what to choose? Write to us — we'll help you decide, no obligation.

How do I sign up?

New to dancing? Head to Nowe kursy (new courses) and pick a beginner course. Already dancing? Check out Eventy (events). Sign-up happens online in a few minutes. And if you're not sure which level fits you, write to us and we'll figure it out together.

What should I wear to class?

Comfortable clothes you can move freely in, and clean indoor shoes to change into. Bring water. That's it, seriously. You don't need dance clothes or special shoes to get started.

Have a question that's not here?
